About

Hello Ghouls and Boils,

Welcome to She Never Slept – a news and reviews site (with interviews, articles, convention reports, and more) for books, film, art, music, games, and more in the genres of Science Fiction, Strange Tales, and Horror.

Initially SNS was started as way to support indie artists (of all varieties) that we knew who were getting little to no press. It quickly blossomed (more like exploded) and we had to get a full staff of writers to help – we were buried under a pile of books. Today we have a 2 fabulous Assistant Editors and 7 hard working Minions on staff (queue applause). With the same spirit in which SNS was started, we still help the “little guy” by giving press and critique to those who would otherwise get very little attention. As we have grown we have added more features – regular columns, convention reports, live interviews, live panel discussions, and more.

If you are interested in submitting something for review or if you have news for our readers, please read the FAQs and then contact us!

“Someone once asked what it was that first drew me to horror, science-fiction and strange tales. That was an easy question – Drive-In Theater Double Features. As a child my family and I would regularly go to the drive-in (back when they were far more prevalent). Usually they would play a “kid friendly” movie as the opener and a more adult movie later in the evening when the kids should have been sleeping. I never slept.” – Sarah L. Covert
