DEAD AND LIVING IT – Webzine
On July 20th, 2009, Black Forest Studios lead by Zac Conley launched a webzine of a different variety. Aided by the Managing Editor and writer Jayme Roxann Wright, they bring to us monster lovers a twist on the perspective of how we see our Undead friends. Here is the description straight from Ms. Wright’s alter-ego, Draguta Demeter:
WE the Undead have been inundated with your portrayals of us through various forms of media. Humans have capitalized on our lives and your attempts to destroy us. Now after years of stumbling around in the dark, we are banning together to aide each other with the help of Draguta Demeter (an immortal gypsy) and Dr. Bela SaVini (mad scientist at large) by bringing forth from the depths of our years of experience and knowledge a webzine dedicated to surviving and navigating the world of… humans!
Compiled into one place we have the answer you have been thirsting for. From improving your reputation, to tackling technology, as well beauty and love advice; Dead And Living It tackles all your monstrous questions. Articles are translated by the possessed, en-ghouled, or enslaved humans that act as our scribes.
The webzine will be put out on a monthly basis starting September 20. It features articles by well known scribes such as Dan Wickline, Steven Saunders, and Stephen R. Lindsey and features several artists have contributed such as Nat Jones, Danny DeBruin, Mark Slater, Zac Conley, Steve Oatney, Ouigee, Gideon Caine and more.
