Be Here for our Special 100th Post with HPLHS!
Hello Ghouls and Boils,
Has it really been nearly 100 posts already? We’ve been having so much fun behind-the-scenes here at She Never Slept that we almost missed it. No worries… we have something spooktacular planned! Join us on April 13th for a live interview with Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society!
Well known in the Lovecraftian community for their radio plays, Very Scary Solstice CDs, and various Lovecraftian goodies – they debuted their first film “Call of Cthulhu” in 2005. It was a silent film adaptation on the famous Lovecraft story. To say that it was well-received would do this film a disservice, well-loved would be more apropos. If for some reason you haven’t seen it, I suggest checking it out.
The folks at HPLHS are at it again… and I for one can’t wait to see the results. This time they are taking on Lovecraft’s “The Whisperer in Darkness”. I have seen the trailer and I am admittedly geeking out. Stop by on Tuesday, April 13th at 8PM Pacific for a live BlogTalk Radio interview with Sean and Andrew (the madness behind the genius that is HPLHS *should that be the other way around?*). We’ll open the last half of the show to call in questions! Hope you all can make it!
And now, so you can see what I am so psyched about… I give you the trailer for HPLHS’s “The Whisperer in Darkness“. Enjoy, my fiends!Abstrusely,
Sarah L. Covert

I finally watched the trailer, Sarah… and I’m geeking out too! Can’t wait to listen in on the 13th to hear your lovely voi-, er, uh, the interview. I thought HPLHS was on to something, even before I knew their names or knew you (how fortuitous things can be…) . Took me a while to make all the connections. I enjoyed Call of Cthulhu” and now I’m primed to see The Whisperer in Darkness.
Very cool baby!
Henry
Congrats on 100!! !! Looking forward to next the few hundred. I love SNS! So do my fans
[all 3 of them] . . .
ahhhhhh…. Pacific time. Ok… ok… I should have known, can’t do an HPL talk unless Cthulhu can tune in from R’lyeh without having to miss “Lost”.
This will be more fun that Lost!!!
In any case… don’t be sad Mark. The episode should be archived.
