Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I am a writer/artist/musician/filmmaker – would you review my work?
A. If you work in the Science-Fiction, Strange Tales or Horror genres, we want to hear from you! Please email our editorial staff. You can find their information on the contact page.
Q. Can I email She Never Slept a PDF copy of my novel/short story?
A. We have a strong preference for books. We are bibliophiles. But there are a few people on staff with eBook readers — so if your book is only in electronic format we will accept it.
Q. When will my review be posted?
A. We review books, movies, games, and music as they come in. We have a big stack of review material and the SNS staff all have fulltime “real” jobs. We will try to get them up in a timely manner. If you have time constraints please let us know before you send the material.
Q. Do you guarantee a review?
A. Yes, every item we receive will be reviewed. It just may take some time. We don’t mind a gentle reminder now and again, but please do not spam us with queries about your review status. We do not guarantee a good review – but we will be thorough and honest!
Q. Do you have a rating system?
A. Yes, all material is given a “Final Thoughts” wrap-up and a rating of 1 through 5 Tentacles.
Q. Are you looking for reviewers?
A. We are open to adding more reviewers to the staff. Send an email to She Never Slept’s Creator and Editor – Sarah L. Covert.
Q. I love your website and I want to help! What can I do?
A. There is a donation link on the sidebar. That will help us maintain the site, get us to conventions and more! (Oh and thank you in advance!)
